Question: I babysit for my only source of income. Should I keep records and if so what records should I keep?
Answer: In General, if you are self employed you should keep records of all income and expenses. See IRS pub 552 “Record Keeping for Individuals”, pub 535 “Business Expenses”, and pub 583 “Starting a Business and Record Keeping”.
